The Leaders & Scholars Series & Presidential Debate-Watching Party Series
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, February 22nd, when we will watch the contenders for the GOP nomination for president square off in a debate hosted by CNN and the Arizona Republican Party. This should be a lot of fun. Cheer, Boo, Applaud, and otherwise enjoy yourself with like-minded politically motivated people! Invite a friend!
Local candidates have been invited to come and get acquainted with our membership as we gear up for our robust schedule of Republican primary debates for offices here in Northwest Florida. We will conduct straw polls after each debate where members of the Club can vote for the local Republican candidate they prefer. Membership for an individual is $20, and for a married couple is $25. Results of the straw polls will be released to the media.
Free door-prizes and materials from campaigns will be given away.
Social Time – 6:30pm – Patio banquet room of Monterrey’s (nice, big TVs!) near Cordova Mall
Meeting – 7:00pm-until (Presidential debate begins at 7:00pm CT)
We are excited to continue The Leaders & Scholars Series in March, when we will host local candidates participating in a contested Republican primary.
The Leaders & Scholars Series features candidates, elected officials, and local business & community leaders.

Thank you to the Republican Party of Florida for hosting a fantastic “Presidency 5” event this past September 22nd through September 24th, 2011 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The debate and the Florida Straw Poll put a spotlight on our state and the battle for the nomination is better for this experience!

When public officials visit the Club you get to ask them the questions you want answered.
The Pensacola Republican Club feels that all too often people are comfortably sitting on the political sidelines rather then getting involved and making their voices heard.
You, and each and every other voter, do have a voice. Candidates and public officials understand that an educated public is the best way to ensure sovereignty and freedom.
